Masons works with Prince's Trust to renovate local community centre.

Masons Timber Products Ltd has been working with the Prince’s Trust Sherwood Team 46 to renovate a stage at the Loco Community Centre in Netherfield, Nottingham.

Masons had provided the timber for the youngsters to build a stage door which can be slid across the stage to create a smaller or larger staging area for performers.

After several weeks of fundraising and hard work the Princes Trust have culminated in the creation of a great new stage area which will be used by members of the local community.

Tina Simpson, Trustee and Treasurer for and on the behalf of the Netherfield Forum commented saying “Masons kindly sponsored the opening of the Loco Stage in Netherfield, all donations have made a difference already to the centre and the stage has been used for keep fit classes”.

“This project has been one close to my heart and I have been working towards reinstating the stage in Netherfield for a long time”.

Masons Timber Products Ltd, Managing Director, Josh Burbidge had commented “Masons are very happy to help the Princes Trust with their project in the local community. The Princes Trust has established themselves by helping young people develop key workplace skills, working with the young people at the Loco Centre has reaffirmed these key principles for the youngsters.”

“We have been honoured to help out with the Princes Trust project at the Loco Centre and the sliding shutters they have made to look very professional.”
